CHADO NEW MEXICO, whose complete title is Chado Urasenke Tankokai New Mexico Association, is one of over eighty Urasenke Associations worldwide, and represents the Urasenke lineage in New Mexico. Meetings of members are held four times each year.

Benefits of Chado New Mexico Membership include:
Invitations to members-only events such as lectures, workshops, study intensives with instructors from around the world, and tea events like the annual Hatsugama celebration that includes an extraordinary kaiseki meal;
Access to the extensive lending library of books and videos about Chanoyu and related arts in both English and Japanese, including a complete set of Chanoyu Quarterlies;
Twice yearly newsletters in English from Urasenke headquarters in Kyoto about tea events worldwide;
Quarterly events calendars and updates from Chado New Mexico;
The ability to study with an Urasenke-trained instructor in New Mexico;
Invitations to Chado New Mexico's quarterly organizational meetings;
Access through an instructor to the Association's kaiseki serving utensils and table top tea serving set (misonodana) for study and use;
The possibility of applying for short-term or year-long study in the Midorikai training program at Urasenke in Kyoto, Japan;
Being part of a network of Urasenke Associations in over thirty countries, so that wherever you travel, you can connect with other people interested in Chanoyu.

Annual dues support the activities of Chado New Mexico.
Levels of membership include:
Full time student: $15
Individual: $25
Family: $40
Corporate: $60
Sustaining $75
