The Urasenke tradition of Tea we practice is the result of 16 generations of Sen Family guidance and creativity.  Each generation of "Iemoto" (head of the household) has helped to shape today's Chado.

Usually we examine one or two generations in a class.  However, for this special "deluxe" mini-class, we will examine all 16 generations of Urasenke Iemoto:  their biography and their contributions to Chado.  We hope that this will offer a unique insight into each generation and will deepen one's heart connection with this extraordinary Sen Family.
